Due to the holistic approach of the longitudinal study, we focus also on teacher and teaching studies that are a significant part of the child’s development.
For example, as part of the longitudinal study, we examined the effectiveness of the common reading teaching methods in Israel for beginning Hebrew-speaking readers. We found that one of the methods that have been examined is the method that has a clear advantage over other methods on decoding measures among G1 students, after considering the background characteristics of the children and their teachers.
